UBC Vancouver Summer Program 2016
Introduction
The Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) is a four week academic program offered by various Faculties at the University of British Columbia, Canada. Students will be able to take two academic courses while learning about Canadian practices and culture. There are two programs

Course Packages
There are two courses in each package and each course is about 39 hours of class time. Classes are interactive and often include group work and discussions. Evaluation may include assignments, group projects, papers, exams, and participation marks. Courses do not receive UBC credits but students can check with
their own department to see if can transfer the credit.
Participant Profile
Participants typically students who have completed at least one year of university prior to joining the program. As the program will be taught in English, participants must be at the appropriate English language level to be successful. Specific course packages may have further requirements for background.
The packaged fee per student for the 2016 program is $4500 CAD and it includes:
•Course tuition
•Medical insurance
•Group airport transfer and city tour
•Shared accommodation on UBC campus for 31 nights
•Orientation and farewell events
•Course materials
•Social activities
