[Recruitment] Summer course volunteers needed for the period August 28 to September 8 (Vietnamese, Indonesian or from Thailand)

￭ Activity：A two- week summer course in “biotechnology and Instrument Analysis” will be offered for faculty, graduate students, technicians and researchers from South East Asian countries (ex. Ho Chi Minh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam, Udayana University, UMY, Indonesia and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand).

The course is to introduce some basic knowledge for Instrument analysis:

1. Quantitative PCR and Pyrosequencing

2. Next-Generation sequencing

3. High performance microscopy

4. Cross experience with Biotechnology companies in Taiwan

5. Cross culture and visit historical sites in Tainan city

￭ Qualifications: NCKU international students who would like to learn a little more about medicine, DNA sequencing, different instruments used in lab. Students will be able to participate all the lectures, hands-on lab experience and fieldtrips for free.
