2020 uOttawa summer research Program (application deadline April 6, 2020)
Dear all,
The University of uOttawa has provided some research opportunities for NCKU students.
The exchange period will be for 2-4 months of 2020. On the application form, you can write your proposed visiting dates. But do allow enough time for the process (suggest at least 3 months before proposed departure date). The first step will be to help match you with one of the supervisors. Note that you'll also be competing with other students from other universities.
Please turn in the following documents before April 6th 2020 Ms. Chen at jjc81@mail.ncku.edu.tw
-Application form
-Curriculum Vitae
-Transcript (English version). Average grade 80 or above
-English proficiency scores:TOEFL iBT > 79, IELTS > 6.0, or TOEIC > 750
-Letter of intent (should explain the reasons for the student's interest and outline what you will hope to gain from this experience. Each letter should be addressed to the host-Professor and be tailored to the project description. The letter should also explain how your past experiences and academic background qualify you for this internship). For example, if you are interested to apply Project UO1 and UO2, then you will need to write two letter of intent.
-Other supporting documents (ex.certification, recommendation letter, etc)
Suitable participants: students who are almost done with their degree or have completed most of their courses.
After the successful matching, students will apply for financial fundings from GLORIANCKU (if more than 3 months) MOST or the university.

| UO3 | Jean-Michel Menard | Optical characterization of organic materials (4 months) |
